in many respects, the water is our first home. symbolic of the wombs that carry us into the physical realm, and a reminder of the water and salt that continues to sustain our bodies and planet. the sea has the power to cleanse. to renew.  the first time I stepped into the sea, the word home resounded loudly in my ears. was felt in my entire being. to the water spirits who’ve come before me, may we respect and care for our oceans and the spirits that continue to protect them.
