the Eye of Ra is connected to both the ancient Kemetic (egyptian) sun god Ra and the divine feminine/goddess of his daughter. representative of the goddess Wadjet, it is also associated with Sekhmet, Bast (bastet), and Hathor — it is symbolic of power and protection, destruction and rebirth, and associated with both lions and cats.
